Open iT ApplicationTracker™ is a powerful application-tracking tool that monitors software usage independent of licensing method. For organizations running expensive software stacks — CATIA, MATLAB, SolidWorks, ANSYS, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Autodesk, ESRI, Dassault — it gives a single source of truth for real active usage across all of them.

For each application, ApplicationTracker reports CPU, elapsed time, keyboard, mouse and I/O activity, plus where, when and by whom the application was run.

Why It Matters

Traditional license managers only show “license checked out / checked in” — they don’t tell you whether the user actually worked in the software. ApplicationTracker closes that gap by enabling a direct license record vs. real active usage comparison.
