Frequently Asked Questions

Is it safe to move our HPC workloads to the cloud?

Yes. With a properly designed cloud architecture — VPC isolation, encryption at rest/in-transit, IAM policies and dedicated instances — on-prem security levels can be achieved. Hybrid models can also be configured to keep sensitive data on-premises.

Is cloud HPC more expensive than on-prem HPC?

For short-term or burst workloads, cloud is more economical (pay only for what you use). For continuously running full-capacity workloads, on-prem may be more advantageous long-term. Mevasis performs a feasibility study for both scenarios to determine the optimal cost model.

Which cloud providers do you support?
